Icon The Clinton's next move...

Yes, as the article PK posted from Newsweek states, the math is a big problem for the Clintons. This is why I feel like what they may be pushing for now is a spot on the ticket and not the nomination. I don't think Hillary would be Obama's first (second, third, fourth, or fifth choice for that matter) but I think pressure could mount to create this "Super Ticket" with Obama and Clinton that would obviously be very appealing to the media. McCain would then face the "black guy and a woman" stuff and the media and all of these idiotic loons could gush about history being made and blah, blah, blah...

I do think Obama can be bullied into this and there is no bigger bully in the party than Bill Clinton. I think the Clintons want to get back to the White House any way they can. With Cheney turning the VP spot into a top secret "I'm really making the calls" job, I think the Clintons would be happy to have it and manipulate from there. If Obama does not see that this would pretty much be cutting his balls off he is a fool and should not be president.

So, I don't think the Clintons expect to win but I do think they would like several strong showings to improve their chances to bully a spot on the ticket. Basically I think the Clintons have decided they will be part of the ticket one way or another and they will sell, sell, sell that they bring the most value to the table. Winning the "big states" even by small margins improves their position. They can't win the delegates they need but they can still "win" would be the feeling I think.

I am not going to support this in any way, shape, or form. Who am I? I am nobody.
