Firstly, thanks Block for reminding me of what a superb album East Nashville Skyline is... It's one of those I "forget" to listen to but when I do, man....It's brilliant.Secondly, If I may throw my 800 000 Zim Dollars (ten cents) in here, I am pretty sure a video like that in this country, aimed at our current president, would most definitely earn you a visit from the Scorpions...(our local "FBI" type law enforcement)
Also, the link to DB was crass, and definitely warrants an apology.
Marc, you know full well that kid was being forced to read from cue cards... The child knows no better, the adult concerned here is to blame. And to think he would listen to DB's music, with no offence intended to David... Well, how and when, Marc, do you think he would get such a great opportunity? I doubt very much he gets exposed to much more than angry rap and hip hop. I feel it's the same as thinking a kid growing up in one of the many squatter camps all over this country (which have sprung up since 1994) would get to hear music like David's. And I apologise if it seems wrong to think this way.
