Last Friday I asked Dale about his views on abortion. He's very much the "Maine moderate" that I thought him to be. During the first trimester, he believes a woman has a right to an abortion. We didn't get into the question of when a woman's life or health could be at risk. I'd be surprised if he wouldn't allow for later abortions in such instances, but I don't want to speak for him.
