I don't see anything in McCain's past that would paint him as a pre-emptive war guy. Further, if we want isolation, see what happens if Obama revokes NAFTA (which is exactly why he won't do that). Obama may well talk to the world in terms more pleasing to their ears, but economically he talks like an isolationist. As long as he walks a moderate path in that regard, I don't think too much harm will be done.
