The other night I was flipping through the dial and caught Matt Taibbi talking with David Corn about Taibbi's new book The Great Derangement.

Anyway, a year or two ago Taibbi infiltrated one of the mega churches and has written about it in Rolling Stone and in his book.

He reported the people in the church were very similar in thinking to those DB found at Free Republic - gays caused Katrina, Global Warming is all bullshit, there's a big showdown coming between Christianity and Islam, et cetera.

These folks are plane wacko.

Oh, by the way, the mega church was headed by McCain love man Hagee...go figure....
