What I was saying, really, is that if I had walked a mile (or a thousand or two) in Ms. Obama's shoes, and heard about those walked by her parents and their parents, I might be just as militant. But I haven't, so I can only imagine, and I don't begrudge her opinions one iota.

If her opinions were on par with, say, Cynthia McKinney, I might be more troubled. I don't think they are even close, and the bottom line is that, as much as Hillary likes to say so, the First Lady's impact on legislation and policy is not all that great.
