Very cool. I hope it works.

Recently, at Herring Pond, wind blew down the enormous billboard that had previously announced to highway travellers that this was a place to come and build homes.

It is a mixed blessing. Now I get a great view of the trees and sky that had previously been occupied by huge letters in b&w.

But . . . if no one else comes to build out here, the development may be in trouble. Seems we need the advertising.

Uneasy lies the head . . . though I still enjoy the calming effects of fishing whenever I care to, and planting carrots & radishes, tomatoes & blueberries.
