I probably don't know how to express what I mean here, but, it is interesting to me that 'things' are
judged to be 'getting better' based simply upon the tan or the sex of the potential Presidential
nominees of the Democratic Party.Surely, someone could express my puzzlement better. I mean, we're talking about the national
figurehead, rather than what they're likely to do and who are the influences behind their respective
thrones.I've got it: appearances are trumping substance.
