wow, that's a very sad story but that's love in all it's glory right there.

I'm kind of surprised that I didn't see this on the news this morning. I always have national and local news on before work and I wonder why this story wasn't even mentioned? Perhaps it was and I was just too busy getting showered and dressed, but I think I would have honed right in on a story like that. What a hero! Instead I got some long story about how parents are letting their kids get too fat and even their doctors are afraid to tell them it's a problem but that the parent's shouldn't feel guilty...wtf?

My aunt is in town from Seattle to visit my mom and I'm grilling for all of us on Sunday. She has a special spot in her heart for that mountain and I know she'll have a very enlightened opinion about this story too. It'll be better than what I could have seen on the news anyway.

But wow...that's just plain heartbreaking.
