I have no problem resizing. The question is HOW/WHAT do you do with the pic to THEN get it posted?  If I save back in my documents/my pictures, and then attempt to post that, I STILL get the "Image Too Large" error message from the DB gallery site. I just can't figure it out.  I have resized several times last night, all within the parameters stated, and then either it isn't saving what I resized, or I am not storing the thing properly.  Any advice?   I can send to you..just send me your Email to my Email address which is listed here.  BTW I am using Adobe Photoshop 6.0.
