That's right 40 million tuned in to see Sarah Palin and from the build up we have had here it is easy to see why.
1. The press went on the immediate attack of her. Same as they did for Clarence Thomas and Robert Bork.
This is a good thing it shows she has threatened the democrats. The uglier they get the better.
2. She is anti-establishment - this is what will resonate with crossover voters who want to see big lobby go away. In talking to a friend that is democrat he said this is what impressed him most.
3. She is a woman - damn wound'nt it be a shame if the Republicans got elected with a woman on the ticket.
4. She is a strong conservative - this is what the press hates the most. Someone who articulates well on core values. She gets a platform and the liberals had better run for cover
5. She speaks well and of course that is a welcome change. I suffered through Lindsey Graham and Tom Ridge tonight. God we needed someone who can deliver a speech.
6. Michael Savage hates her. Said McCain should immediately withdraw her name and go with Romney.
Savage is a hateful man that cowardly hides behind a microphone.
Here's what I look forward to:
1. More on Orielly's interview with Barack. Bill was definitely tougher on Obama than Hillary.
I have to admire Obama for going in. He did not have to. Even Orielly said he is not a wimp
2. VP Debate - this should be good
3. McCains vs Obama
My presidential prediction: At this point I don't care what the polls say, this is a dead heat. The debates will be the determining factor and I have to give the nod to the Republicans there.
November election results: McCain 49% Obama 47%. Other 4%
