all mindless partisanship aside, does anyone have any thoughts on `the liberation of iraq` act from 1998? it could be said that the clinton admin fired the first shot when it came to this war (although war is not mentioned, it was inevitable) 

i know that the ayotollahs of the hard left find it galling that things ran as smoothly as they did out in the gulf (unlike, erm, mogadishu) but let's consider the alternatives... would you feel more comfortable with gw embracing a clinton-esque "do nothing" foreign policy? thanks to wjc inaction there were 2 wtc attacks, the uss cole, the khobar towers and `black hawk down`.

does anyone care to address the small issue of the clinton war-crime at el-shiffa? if the belgians seem to like trying to convict foreign political & military leaders - maybe they ought to consider pulling a dossier together on wjc.
