I suppose one's assessment of how sharp she appears depends on how much one agrees with the content of her talking points. I thought she came across as rather dim and uninformed. Authoritative and pleasant, but not accurate.

I'm always suspicious of politicians using phrases like "it's God's will" in any context. I suppose its fine if they believe that, but to verbalize it so often can lead to dangerous groupthink. After all, for the faithful, there's no questioning God's will, whatever that may be.
