this is a point we agree on db. But I hope nobody on either side points blame at the other because BOTH sides have been clearly complacent to Wall Street's shenanigans. Neither presidential candidate has any idea what to do about it either. Ron Paul does, but I've been and will continue to be dismissed because I'm a flake that understands that. But let's watch the moneyflow.

I personally sounded a warning alarm almost a year ago (late October) and pulled my entire 401k into cash then, much to my coworker's amused chagrin. But now they are just plain scared to death because they have witnessed losses of probably around 30% since then and are just now thinking of cashing out (precisely the wrong time). When they do, I'll know it's the bottom and I'll go back in. But it's all because American Idol or Brittany seemed more important at the time than the economy to the American public. It's their own damned fault.

But seriously, this government intervention (at taxpayer expense) in the markets sickens me, and I will have nothing of it. And I've bet heavily against it for quite a while and have done quite well myself. Still, I don't like seeing other people fleeced by people they elected.
