Just over one year ago, when I bought a box of Barilla pasta at the local grocery, I paid .77 on sale, .88 or .99 as a norm.

Now, if I choose to buy Barilla, I pay 1.28 on sale, 1.55 or 1.65 as a norm.

I can still buy store-brand pasta for close to the old high-end Barilla price, but never as low as the old Barilla "sale" price.

Other than gasoline, what price rises have you noticed at the store?
