we can thank the saudi's for riyadh... I'll get back to you on the rest.

i'm all for `blaming` the right people (for all the good it does), but we at least need to be consistent. on one hand, b41 can be `blamed` for the mass graves - but it is ill-informed not to lay some `blame` at the feet of carter for not intervening in iran (to possibly prevent the spread of islamic fundamentalism) and then lay some more `blame` at the feet of clinton for a do-nothing foreign policy.

while wjc was appealing to his base by trying to accomodate their most selfish inclinations, the fundies saw the country in a weakened state and took their opportunity. to be precise, they took their opportunity about a half a dozen times. after wtc 1 he could have hot-footed it straight to manhattan with promises of reagn-esque dawn raids over the capitol of the guilty country  - but he did flip all. the only thing he did do was bomb an asprin factory (which was, technically speaking, a war crime)

if you care to address the `liberation of iraq` act from 1998, we can get into the validity of powell's un performance. would you also like me to try and track down the info from the london telegraph that supposedly ties iraq and 9/11 together?

to paraphrase eric cartman, you need me as much as i need you. if the country followed my inclinations, the world would hate us even more - if the country followed the general ethos of the board, we'd all be living in abject danger - many of us would be dead. some are trying to impeach bush (in the name of partisan politics) , others pine for wjc, while others don't know what they want except that it's probably a world government conspiracy.
