Agree, he was class the whole way. I know him more by his mid and late career, and truly love some of his more rebuffed films (Hudsucker Proxy, Nobody's Fool). Like Jimmy Stewart, you always knew you were watching Paul Newman, but the edges and facets he would bring to a character were just astounding.
