To each's own, I suppose. They have an interesting controversy going
on how the new album was recorded.

I've heard the CD and it doesn't sound overly compressed, there are far worse offenders. But it would be pretty disrespectful if there is a notable
sound upgrade on Guitar Hero III.
The worst offender, IMO remarkably enough is Beck. His latest efforts
are way over the line on compression.
The Loudness Wars can kiss my grits. I roll with a mono and a 4 channel
amp in my truck and I have to keep my thumb on the volume control on the steering wheel when I have the iPod on shuffle in case a Beck or other overly compressed tune comes up. Hey, I am no expert but Compassion (sorry DB-BTW-my best friend said hello to you at breakfast just the other day)
on HCTNFU is the same deal. The AFM mix is a lot friendlier.
