• OH MY HEAD, I just read Andrea's post topside. What an apparent waste of so perfect a beautiful blue ball in space some of our so-called afluent have turned out to be ... and taking the rest of us with them into Dante’s Plastic Inferno. Whether we want to go or not!

The whether or not we want to go ... I think ... is key ... to remaining Constitutionally sound. Minus that, & fuckit, ...not sure what I'm holding onto anymore. I really liked that part of my coming up here in the USA, that vitalizing sense of freedom of will within the context of a minimal set of laws maintaining civility & logical roadworthiness. Civilization accepted as being an inevitability; hard-soled shoes still optional. Well, unless she goes all-catastrophic on us..., then saddle-up & fill your flasks. •
