The Returns counter at Saks is probably not such a great job these days either.

So, a pitbull, a hockey mom and a pig walk up to a Nieman Marcus cosmetics counter...

I knew/know a couple of former Secret Service Agents very well and I was always amazed at watching them with their president. One was with Clinton and he's have to literally have Clinton by the belt loop to drag him back because Mr. Bill would be reaching in and shaking people's hands 6 rows deep into the crowd. Yes, stressful but they are so well and thoroughly trained. And the advance work that is done in each location is pretty intense--especially where a big crowd like that is going to show up.

That said, it's never fool-proof, never going to be.

I will say this about my two friends--you'd go to a dinner party where they were there and nothing but nothing in the room was lost on them. They'd scan constantly even while in a normal setting. Nice folks too both of them.
