why I did not like that CD. R.E.M are at their best when you have Stipes vocals cranking, Peter Buck's RickenBaker ringing clearly, with background vocals of Mike Mills. Not a bunch of somber organ music with subdued Stipe vocals. Out of Time is my preference but I can see why others might not agree but Up is not as good as Accellerate. I take Accellerate to the gym, Up brings me down :)
