Well, it took me a helluva long time to read through all the threads & posts you folks made while I was gone and I finally made it to this thread about the "greatest band in the world" and damn it if I didn't miss whatever Gene said about them...whatever it was though I second it, I don't care how drunk or obscene Geno was...REM sucks...that's pretty much how I feel about them. Blech, can't stand them. They bore the hell out of me and the thing I really don't dig is their music seems to be all posture & pose and no soul. Dull as dish water.

There are probably hairs on Jeff Tweedy's testicles that could write better music than REM.

Did that sound a little extreme? Well, I have not said much here lately so I wanted to make a comment that sort of stuck, ya know?

Anyway, whatever Gene said was right!

I can't decide if I should add or subtract from this post...maybe it needs more hair...
