I wholeheartedly agree it's mostly a music business ploy to get us to rebuy our CDs. And per your Beatles example - that is one set I think they got right the first time (for the most part). I think it's a credit to the brilliance of George Martin in the first place (ie good in/good out vs. crap in/crap out). But I'm sure the Beatles discog will get the remastering treatment sooner than later (some stuff has already been released). Another question - if DB suddenly posted he had Boomtown through HCtNFU remastered with bonus tracks - who on here wouldn't pony up for it?
