I'm out of the country on the anniversary of Joe's death- (12/22) -and won't be posting then, but I think that it's an anniversary worth honoring for those of us who see rock and roll as an art form that both expresses our hopes for the future and that has the power to help create that future. I found this quote about Joe from one of the band members of the Waterboys and thought I'd pass it on:
