There is very little material out there, aside from classical releases, that was intended for 5.1 at the time of recording. (so far)The early Elton John releases in 5.1 are superb !I'm not sure I agree so much on the live stuff, I find that, though realistic, I don't really care for having the audience monopolizing my rear speakers.
It bugs me when I'm watching football too. :-)
