When I think of your contributions to the DBIS, many things come to mind. Obviously, your strong religious leanings resulted in a lot of back-and-forth between us (and others), though I'm pretty sure that really nothing changed as a result. Still, you pushed me to better formulate and articulate my views, and for that I'm grateful. At times, I was touched by your concerns (my cousin Anthony's near service in the Marines being one), but you have a conspiratorial side that I don't share, and frankly find a little disturbing. Still, you are one guy that I'd love to share a beer with. Perhaps you will one day make the trek south to join Reg, Dale, and me at the Red Hook Brewery in Portsmouth. Stranger things have happened, GM.

I'm guessing, GM, that the pull of this website will again beckon you, but who knows. If this is it, well, I hope you will follow my late father's motto, "Learn, do good, be well, abhor evil, work diligently, know why, and enjoy life."
