Skynyrd just seems incongruous with the rest of it
True but every time I break out Street Survivors I'm reminded what a good band they were. Actually Rossington Collins were very good and so was The Allen Collins band. I saw the former back in '80 when Gary's wife Dale was singing lead. Good writing and music. I went to the Re-Union Tour back in 87 when Artimus and Ed King and Johnny was first singing lead. What they have now is an embarrassment. Ronnie is rolling over in his grave saying stop it already :)
A bit of trivia. Ronnie used to wear this riverboat looking hat with a snakeskin around it. Had them specially made down in Buda Texas just south of Austin
