http://www.muhajabah.com/otherscondemn.phpFortunately, Pat, there are some courageous Muslims who have publicly condemned terrorism. Granted, they're not an extremely visible group by any means, but there are brave souls out there. I'm currently reading " Why I Am Not A Muslim" by Ibn Warraq. It provides insight into Islam's history, the origin of the Koran (and how it was altered over time, much like the Bible). It describes in graphic detail how Islam often represses, and sometimes brutalizes women, intellectuals, homosexuals, and anyone else who cares to speak out. In my opinion, Islam, like the other major religions, is wholly the product of mankind. It's destructive, and plays to the dark side of human nature. We'd be a better world if we were rid of them. And, coincidentally, the latest edition of Free Inquiry (by those subversive Secular Humanists, God bless 'em) has a terrific article on where religion may be headed.http://www.secularhumanism.org/index.php?section=fi&page=indexPeter T.
