My wife, for example, is Catholic. If there were a bombing done by someone from the Methodist church down the street, I don't think either she or I would feel any significant connection or responsibility for it. We'd probably condemn it if asked. Do you see the parallel?
Not really. If you had bombing regularly I would expect leaders from all Christian Denominations to openly denounce this. The press would expect nothing less. They would be asking why is no one speaking out against this? I don't think it has anything to do with a left or right wing bias in the media.
We disagree on this point. There is definitely spiritual warfare going on in this country and the media either doesn't cover or ignores blatantly attacks made on Christianity. Let it be on a Muslim, Gay or Black and it is front page news. Yes there is a double standard. A huge one
