Etta is classic.

Beyonce and Christina (though talented) get attention by grabbing their groins and wearing dresses cut so low as to make a baby cry (thank you Redd Foxx for that joke). Focusing on the music . . . becomes hard.

I'll never outgrow the older recordings of Etta on this tune, and I can appreciate what B and C do with it . . . but by far my favorite "recent" recording of it was by Phoebe Snow. Here is a live performance, where you get to see Donald Fagan (of Steely Dan fame) introduce her:
