Well, the Senate got hold of the budget and just stripped it of everything with the promise that their plan is to cut even more stuff unless "we the people" agree to some massive tax hikes, rate hikes, fee hikes, toll hikes, and on and on and on.

<>><<> …but no doubt THEY and CONgress and all the smaller local-er legislators, (bank and insurance company BODs), are mostly exempt from the more personal tax hikes and resources cuts, etc. etc.  Some pals and I, all those many years ago, used to climb to the highest rocks we could find @ one Mojave desert monument or another & (uh finger-gesture) salute The Big Green Weenie.  & we had every reason to at the time.  Too bad now EVERYone does.  ………Awe shit mama, the vision’s gone it seems. No baby, don’t go slack now, …even a prisoner can dream….

Where the House was willing to listen and use some common sense, the Senate seems to feel it is all about playing hardball and telling folks they just are not giving enough to their government...I think it is all about raising the fear factor until we agree what we have to do is give them the money.

><<>><  Throw rotten tomatoes to the townsfolk, let them feel the sting of our highbrow oppression, break them, make them twist.  History doesn’t lie.  But it does lie dormant, waiting for Superman or the Last Great American Whale or Robert Langdon to force justice on the affluently stupid.  But Superman is dead, fed a plate o Kryptonite by the FDA, … and The Last Great American Whale, well you know, was speared by a silver-spooner on a binge and unrevived by the AMA, and Robert Langdon … why … he’s just make-believe
