A couple of musical recommendations:
Gus Black "Uncivilized Love" - Interesting L.A. songwriter type. You guys and gals will like this a lot. Used to be just Gus and looked so much like Jackson Browne on his album cover, when I first picked it up I thought Jackson had released an album called GUS.
The Black Keys "Thickfreakness" - If you like crunchy fuzz guitar drenched blues rock, with amazing vocals this is for you. Not complex stuff, just simple and to the point. But what a point. "The Big Come Up" is just as good. Saw these guys open for Beck in May. One other cool thing, the story goes that they recorded "Thickfreakness" in one day.
