I consider myself to be an educated, well rounded liberal, that is utterly baffled by what is going on in this country - or to be more accurate, what is not going on this country.

I add the last line because of the link DB added to his original post - because it seems to me that there seems to be a severe disconnect when it comes to those in power doing what is right in this country.

We are turning a blind eye to torture and murder. Our health care system is in shambles and we should be ashamed about how whites in America are responding to our first black president (for God's sake - people bitching about an American president speaking to school children and using inflammatory words like "indoctrinate" to frame the complaint?).

But with all this, I am confused why DB would ask for this site to be shut down. I am confused if he is so disappointed that all of us are not marching in the street demanding true justice?

Is he disappointed that we are not as angry as we should be?

Is he just having a bad day and embarrassed that a collective fan base maybe doesn't really know him at all?

I just don't know....
