The good professor was at BU when I was there about 30 years ago. I regret not having the sense to take in any of his lectures. I'm sure the College of Liberal Arts had far more stimulating discussions than those heard at the staid School of Management. At the time, BU's president was John Silber, a pretty strident, no-nonsense conservative. The heated exchanges between the two underscored the need for academic freedom, and yes, tenure.Peter T.
