SectionID=3&SubSectionID=19&ArticleID=47511&TM=46266.34 some unvarnished truth anyone? To the Editor: America is bankrupt. Our debt is $12 Trillion (T), but total debt including social security and
Medicare unfunded liability is $107T. That's seven times the size of our economy that generates
$2.7T a year in federal taxes. Do the math ... we're broke! Our federal debt is increasing at a rate of nearly $4 billion a day. It's fueled by President Obama's
agenda to change how this country runs and he has tripled the Bush record deficit spending in less
than a year. Federal debt is now expected to quadruple in the next 10 years. Both Republicans and Democrats are fiscally reckless with spending. By leaving debt unchecked our
treasury will continue running its printing presses, interest rates will increase and that will lead to
super inflation. They all should be ashamed of themselves for what they are doing to our young and
to generations to come. Enough is enough! Voters need to rise up and fight this budget cancer. Challenge politicians when they support
bailouts, earmarks, new entitlements like ObamaCare and Wall Street bonuses equaling $140 billion
that we can't afford. Piecemeal changes won't solve these problems. If Congress won't act
responsibly, push for a balanced budget amendment and term limits to avert disaster. Stop this generational theft that is robbing our children's future and threatens to undermine the
foundation of our democracy. There's nobody with resources to bail out the U.S unlike our banking
industry and General Motors. Frank Mazur
