Don't know if anyone mentioned this guy named Damien Rice or not, but he has a new cd out called "O" that is really good. If you like that guy Bonnie Prince Billy, you should like this cd. Ballads with pain, feeling and beauty.On another band, The Nighthawks are a pretty good rock/blues/roadhouse/bar band. I learned of them from HBO's "The Wire" (which is one of the best dramas I have seen in a long, long time. Give it a look if you like smart, witty, brutal, humorous well written drama and EXCELLANT acting).Lastly, Paste Magazine will soon be going bi-monthly. Folks, seriously, grab this magazine and you won't be sorry at all and will kick yourself wondering why you never picked up an issue before. Happy 4th to everyone......
