Whether one agrees with the belief in Santa and things magical, that is your prerogative, however, somehow, my sweet oldest daughter born in 1998 on Christmas day, has still not had that bubble burst. So on the way home from the in-laws, I got a treat to listen to my four girls talk of all things magical and why people have a hard time seeing Leprechauns (it's because they are small, silly) while I drove through traffic. My point is, if I can keep the nasty wolf of reality just outside my door for one more day, I will do what I can to do that. I'm not saying my children are naive, but that I'm trying so hard to keep the evils of the world as far away as possible for as long as I can. And to hear these children talk of wonder, happiness and glory for the future, we can live through them. The world grows dark and cruel much too fast. Until then, I hope all had a wonderful holiday time and took just one second out of their busy lives to look at that loved one and really appreciate that he or she is still here. Best, Eric
