Ah, but not everybody knew the ship was going to sink. A coworker was waiting in line with a friend to see Titanic and discussing the actual sinking of the ship. There was a young kid standing behind them who frustratingly remarked about the ship sinking, "I didn't want to know that".

I saw Avatar and thought it was a nice 2:40 escape from reality. I especially liked the futuristic look at air traffic control. I was expecting more dizzying 3-d effects than what was. They were good but not so intense as I was thought they'd be. I did find myself flinching at one point as an object exploded off the screen just over my right shoulder. Quite cool.
