Pat states: "Obama has done everything except take steps to improve the economy." The bank and auto bailouts most certainly helped bring us back from the brink of economic disaster. One of the major reasons for health care reform is to improve our long term economic prospects. Continued sky-rocketing premiums will greatly harm the economy. The stimulus most certainly created some jobs and spared others from being cut. His tax cuts put more money into the hands of 95% of the public. His call for a bipartisan commission on long-term fiscal form has enormous implications for the future health of our economy.
