I rather like this one from Carl Hiassen's book "Sick Puppy."

An ex-governor of Florida, now living in the Florida woods, not liking the turn development of his state is taking.

I hesitate to suggest anything argumentative these days, since the day the poster wrote he was getting tired of seeing all the posts about political crap instead of music and such.

Every once in a while I'm able to turn off my "pissed off" self and enjoy a good book or new music collection, but events of the day never fail to intrude upon and shorten my "pissed off" vacation by reminding me that too many people are getting pissed on these days to merit the time off.
