"I have no interest in defending this president anymore than you do. I'd say I'm a moderate republican, and I thought Bush and Gore were both morons. The fact that those 2 boobs were the best we have to offer speaks volumes about the current political climate."

Amen to that statement.

I for one like getting a different perspective and my comment was not meant to say the current administration's spending nullifies anything Democrats have done. I just thought there should be some complaining going on about it from the right as well as left.

"Again, I don't think Bush is the savior or anything close to it. But from an economics standpoint, I don't think what is happening is out of charactor with what any other administration, Democrat or Republican has done in similar situations in the past."
