The Israeli blockade of Gaza should not be legal
Why not? If this country was having rocket attacks launched upon it's soil by another territory, would not a blockade be reasonable? This country blockades Cuba and has for decades without even one rocket being fired from Cuba upon American soil, but perhaps that's another discussion. Treatment of the Gazans akin to apartheid? That's ridiculous. Where did you get the idea that Israel claims "sovereignty" over the territory?? Israel claims sovereignty over Israel, NOT Gaza. The situation was a lot better under Fatah rule, and there was no blockade then. Hamas won't even let it's own people get humanitarian supplies and has sold some of it repeatedly. It's so convenient and status quo to blame Israel. The blockade is in place to prevent further attacks upon Israeli soil. If the attacks were to cease, the blockade would be lifted.
