so says this just released poll: http://people-press.org/report/645/The June/July 2010 issue of Free Inquiry states: "In Gallup polls between 1982 and 2004,
almost 50 percent of Americans polled maintained that "God created man pretty much in
his present form at one time within the last 10 thousand years."I imagine the overlap between these two groups is significant, and telling. It leaves me
shaking my head, and seriously fearing for the future. If we can't at least agree upon the
facts of a given situation, how can solutions ever emerge? Peter T.
