So I gather: in Pat's theory and (one you seem to defend) then the folk singer Mary Black is forever mistaken as a Afro-descent singer? Or in reality she is white as driven snow and from Ireland. I mean with a name like that she's gotta be a black woman?

You know... I guess I was going to elaborate further on the real reason these Americans believe it to be, and as I gave it further thought, Pat just might be right?
