(Too bad Lux was written as such a pain in the ass. We can’t keep writing kids as the adults and adults as the kids. There’s no logic in it. I, for one, participated in the viewing of LUX for the reasons of support. & each week I found something compelling about the episode, like the heart was there, the acting, the scoring, …it’s just that it had a soap opera feel to it that never quite allowed it to beak free. I mean, Look at October Road, that original production had some great moments. I don’t know, just seems like nothing has a chance to bloom in this executive world anymore. In PA, guys with 20-25 years in the railroading industry, ol’salts that know ALL the ropes, all contingencies, all things railroad, are being forced out on HALF the PROMISED benefits, while kids 4 months out of school are being placed into Engineer positions. And suits are running entire operations from offices nowhere near the hubs!)
