I certainly think there should be a Triage based film
and to be honest Triage was the work that cemented
the idea for me that David should be working in the
film industry. It also would have made a tremendous
Broadway show although there are people here more
qualified than I to discuss that. In terms of it being a film I always saw it as a sort of
update to Dr. Strangelove floating in a bowl of
Network. I guess it was The Waiter that made me
grasp the funny bone connected to its black heart
but I do think as a film it should be a mix of outrage
and black comedy. As a wise man once said "There is
nothing funnier than carpet bombing."Perhaps I am alone in this but I think Terry Southern
is dead too.
