what a year so far. around Xmas, my roommate imploded, and if you've never had a heroin addict living under the same roof, believe me, it's quite exciting. then my ex's sister killed herself, and spending the day at that funeral was a corker on a number of levels. also that week, the gal i was seeing dumped me. later that day, the band fired me. so it's been quite the chuckle-laden joyride lately, and it's times like these when i gratefully thank the Powers That Be that i'm not a knee-high ale- soaked fuzzy-footed donkey's arse from bloody fookin' Leprechaun Land. so, yeah, haven't wanted to talk politics or giggle much here. but kicking Oirish midgets always seems to help.
