I really like both those new Edie Brickell albums, with a slight preference for the one out in her own name. Got the Paul Simon today after seeing the good words written here. It might be my favorite from him since the 1970's (or at least since Graceland). No highs and lows: it's good stuff through and through. It's nice to see Gabe Witcher making an appearance. I think Punch Bros. are doing the boldest and most innovative take on American music right now.
