Disinclined though I am to speak on behalf of Ed (who remains MIA in my book) you obviously
never enjoyed the life-transforming privilege of seeing "the great wanker Joe Strummer" perform
with The Clash. A pity, as apart from Darkness-era Springsteen, I have never encountered anything
so utterly spectacular. It was what religion should provide. Go buy London Calling, or their
incomparable debut album, and shut the f### up! Were in not for this incomprehensible omission
of good taste on your part, you seem like a fine guy!Peter T.
