Reg,
Yes, I know photographing a drink may seem deranged, and I do not deny being a little deranged at times, but on this particular occasion, I already had a little buzz on from a sip or two, and it just looked soooo pretty...all frosty and silvery, so I took a snapshot or two. Really did not convey the beauty of the thing/ lighting was off. I tried an outdoor shot as well. I'm really getting into closeup photography, appreciating the beauty of small things, so that's part of it. You're quite astute in your assessment though, I do have some "issues"...don't we all?
P.S. If there are some small ice crystals in your glass after you shake up your martini mix..don't worry. Very good sign, actually...shows good breeding, and that you got your training in the Martini Gene Cocktail Academy.
P.S.S. I fantasize at times about opening my own Martini/Jazz Bar. I'd call it , " Geenie Weenie's Martini Bar".
Gene
